Contract Terms

Terms of Payment:
You will be billed upon receipt of a camera ready ad or after your approval of an ad that has been created by our staff. Payment for first insertion due upon receipt of invoice. Net payable 30 days unless other arrangements are made in advance. A late charge of 1.5% per month will be applied to any account 30 days past invoice date. Advertisers are responsible for all fees and costs incurred by Parents' Source in collection of delinquent accounts including attorney's fees.

General Policy:
a) Parents' Source reserves the right to refuse or cancel copy at any time.
b) All ad copy changes must be received by Parents' Source before the established deadline.
c) If a proof is required before publication, corrections will be made only if the corrected proof is returned to Parents' Source before the established deadline.
d) Parents' Source assumes no financial responsibility for typographical errors or omission of advertisements other than to offer additional future insertion space to the extent of the error. If the error is an incorrectly advertised price, advertisers may not sell goods at the incorrect price printed in the advertisement and hold Parents' Source responsible for any loss.
e) The advertiser assumes sole responsibility contained in his ad copy, artwork and photographs and will protect and indemnify Parents' Source and its employees, against any and all liability, loss or expense arising out of claims for libel, unfair trade practice, unfair competition, infringement of trademarks, trade names, patents, copyrights and proprietary rights, and all violations of the right of privacy or other violations resulting from the publication of his copy by Parents' Source.
f) The advertiser accepts the risk of error in verbal or telephone orders.
g) Advertisements and advertising contracts may not be cancelled. Under "extreme circumstances" Parents' Source, at its sole discretion, may consider a cancellation request. This request must be submitted in writing prior to the established deadlines and is subject to a 25% cancellation fee of the full contract.
h) Parents' Source will not be held responsible for advertising materials left with us beyond 30 days.
i) All rights are reserved under copyright laws. Reproduction in whole or in part of any ad, article, photograph or drawing without express written permission is prohibited. Additional copies of your ad for personal use or placement in other publications may be purchased for a fee of $20.00 per copy plus shipping. Any ad resizing required will be charged accordingly for additional labor.

Special Requests

• Preferred positions are available at special rates as shown in the rate card. Space is guaranteed upon availability only. All unpaid position stipulations will be treated as requests. Every effort will be made to honor requests, but these positions are never guaranteed.
• Full page advertisements with bleed add 15%.
• Exclusivity is offered for same name businesses in a single section or directory of Parents' Source, but does not exclude similar or same name businesses from appearing in different sections or directories of Parents' Source. Exclusivity placement is on a first come first served basis and does not apply to blind advertising in which the business name is not stated in the ad copy.
