Fellowship Farm is an educational leader in the field of
human relations. We are a human relations resource for schools, non-profit
agencies and companies. We provide youth and adult training programs at your
location or at Fellowship Farm’s 120 acre site near Pottstown. Our program for
families build family strengths in a light-hearted, fun-filled atmosphere. Through our custom designed education programs, we offer our
partners the vision and skills they need to transform their communities. Founded in 1931 as the Young People's Interracial Fellowship of Philadelphia, we
were incorporated as Fellowship House a decade later. As
an advocacy organization, Fellowship House was in the vanguard of the civil
rights movement. Throughout our rich history, we have hosted many influential
individuals and groups. Martin Luther King Jr. first learned about Gandhi's
theory and practice of non-violence here. Anthropologist Margaret Mead actively
advocated for Fellowship Farm, calling it "a center of illumination in a
darkening world." We have sponsored interfaith conferences and have assisted
refugees from many nations. ($, BC, CC, MC, A)
