Who We Are

Parents' Source promotes family involvement and empowers the people in our community with relevant parenting information while creating a network of support for families.

What we do

We have a variety of vehicles established to provide parents with the tools and information they need to help them as they tackle one of the hardest jobs they'll ever have.

• Parents' Source Berks/Lancaster Edition - A bi-monthly publication distributed FREE through schools, libraries, day care centers, medical offices, and other family-oriented locations. It is a resource guide to services, support and entertainment for families in Berks and Lancaster Counties in Pennsylvania.
• Parents' Source Tri-County Edition - A bi-monthly publication distributed FREE through schools, libraries, day care centers, medical offices, and other family-oriented locations. It is a resource guide to services, support and entertainment for families in Southern Berks, Western Montgomery, and Northern Chester Counties in Pennsylvania.
• ParentsSource.com - Our award winning Website has an on-line version of our publication, along with an archive of articles, hundreds of local and worldwide resources as well as links to advertisers.

How we started

Parents' Source was started in 1993 by a mom with the mission to educate parents and other child caregivers by providing them with pertinent information, encouraging family involvement, and directing families to hard-to-find services and professionals. Parents' Source continues to be a family-run business today.

Initially our sole means of accomplishing this was the publication of our Berks County family resource guide. Over the years we added Lancaster County to the original guide, and we introduced our website - www.ParentsSource.com as an additional way of providing information with the hope of reaching even more families. Most recently, we have added a Tri-County edition to provide a resource for families living in Southern Berks, Western Montgomery, and Northern Chester Counties.

Our vision has been and will continue to be building a strong community with a strong network of people who have concern for today's children and families.
