Frequently Asked Questions about the G.I.V.E. for Kids Expo vendor booths.

Below is information about the Parents' Source G.I.V.E. for Kids Expo. It will give you pertinent details about the Expo. If you are interested in joining us, please contact us by e-mail at gage@epix.net, or call Parents' Source at 610-856-0807 or 717-445-9659.

When: Saturday, February 2, 2002 (Snow date: Sunday, February 3, 2002)

Exhibit Hours: 10:00 am ­ 5:00 pm

Where: Fairgrounds Square Mall, 3050 N. 5th St. Highway, Reading

Exhibit Set-up: Friday, February 1, after 9:00 pm, and Saturday, February 2, before 10:00 am. All exhibits must be set up by 10:00 am on February 2.

Dismantle Exhibits: Saturday, February 2, after 9:00 pm or before 10:00 am Sunday, February 3. It is critical that exhibitors do not attempt to dismantle before that time, since that activity may have a disruptive effect on the entire exhibit area.

Electrical Service: A limited number of outlets are available and will be assigned on a first come first served basis. If you will need electricity please indicate that on your contract.

Exhibit Tables and Location: Table space will be provided throughout the halls of the Mall area. The tables are 6ft long, with fitted skirting and 2 chairs per vendor. Tables will be assigned according to the receipt of reservation. (Parents' Source will e-mail table placement one week prior to event or you may come to the Parents' Source table the day of the event to find out table placement)

Exhibits: All exhibits should look clean and professional. Those providing a free interactive activity should be clearly marked for the Expo attendees. Vendors needing to utilize floor space should indicate that on his/her contract

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation of an exhibit must be received in writing by January 15, 2002, to receive a full refund less a 25% administrative charge. No refunds for cancellations will be honored after January 15, 2002.

Mall Restrictions: The Fairgrounds Square Mall, which is the hosting facility, has some restrictions concerning the use of its open court space. They are as follows: Balloons can be used for decoration, but must be affixed to the floor or table. Balloons may be given to attendees only if they are deflated. The use of helium or helium balloons is prohibited. Small animals are permitted on a case by case basis, and only if animals are completely encaged at all times. Food may be given out at your booth in the form of a premade, prepackaged product. Ready to eat foods, for example, sandwiches, soups etc., are not allowed.
